By car:
From Budapest take motorway M7 to the Bálványos exit, then a left turn under the Kőröshegy viaduct, following the ‘Kaposvár’ sign.
Thanks to the good quality of the roads, Igal also can be reached from Pecs and Kaposvár.
Directions
Thanks to its fortunate location, Igal is easily accessible from all directions. The county seat Kaposvár is 25 km away, but the southern shore of Lake Balaton is only 40 km from Igal.
By train:
According to the travel schedule of MAV trains are readily available to Kaposvár from multiple cities of Hungary. Also buses are regularly running from Kaposvár to Igal.
